Zellweger getting shoved out of position doesn't show anything? His stature will limit how effective he is. Just look how easily he was bumped off the puck. His turnover in OT is the reason why we lost

He was completely clueless in OT.
I sometimes can’t tell if you’re being serious or trolling. He literally had a breakaway in Ot that he completely created on his own and hit the outside of the post.

They lost the game on a bad play all around, it happens.

His stature will not prevent him from being a top flight defenseman (see: Hughes, Quinn; Fox, Adam; Makar, Cale). I’m not saying he’ll be as good as those guys but it’s laughable to suggest a 5’10” 185 pound defenseman can’t become elite just because of his size in 2024

Some of you act like he’s Nathan Gerbe size.

Adam Fantili: 9 points in 19 games
Leo Carlsson: 11 points in 19 games
Macklin Celebrini: 7 points in 10 games
Matvei Michkov: 15 points in 18 games

I’m not super concerned with Leo yet, but it’s a bit frustrating to see Celebrini and Michkov producing better

He seems "clumsier" this year with his stick work and handling the puck cleanly. We know from last year he's still growing ... I wonder if there's been a little growth spurt that's throwing him off just a little. He's been losing the puck with no pressure lately.

And his numbers also suffered from the exact same issue as Zegras ... Only 5 assists in 19 games (3 of which have come in just the last week), largely due to the team just not scoring very many goals at all. Hard to "playmaker" when there's no one being a "finisher."

Very simple with Leo, this off-season he needs to add a lot of muscle and work on face offs. He will be fine.

Yeah but who has the most GW goals ? That to me is a very big deal and it’s not just assists on a PP like with Michkov

Alex Killorn - 4 in his last 4, 5 in his last 5; just sayin' . . .

Imagine if a more functional player was with Zegras and Carlsson. All would probably have more points. It's impressive that Zegras and Carlsson have been good enough to earn him points. They score in spite of his issues weighing them down. He's been awful outside of a play or two.

I think Leo and Z being together has helped them both. They are looking dangerous and are showing up on the scoresheet. I would just go for the ultimate top line and throw Terry up there on RW, he needs help also. Think you then throw MacT back with Vatrano and Strome to be the 2nd line.

Michkov is a -3 despite those 15 points.

Celebrini is a stud, though I’m not sure why you’re frustrated that he is a very good player.
