It was a huge mistake. We’ll get a 2nd for him if we’re lucky now and we could have had a 1st and maybe more last year. Verbeek blew it
lol, we'd be lucky to get a 4th with the way he's playing now

I get Vatrano isn’t scoring but it’s not like he’s not trying. Everyone freaking out about we should’ve traded him screw that. I hope we resign him. He works his ass off. He’s also shooting 3.7%. That sure as shit is not going to last.
absolutely f***ing not, that would be a horrendous mistake. bordering on firing the GM if he does that

Man if this team could get everyone going at once….we could actually be decent. It’s nice to see the confidence of players like Zegras and Zellweger growing but Carlsson and Vatrano have not been the impact players we need them to be.

Agree + Gibby did well. But Zell getting shoved over shows a little bit of his limit against physically larger players
I disagree that him getting shoved down really shows anything honestly. He was put in a really tough spot by his teammate. There are pretty obvious examples around the league of elite defensemen that are the same size as him right now

Remember that beautiful overtime game years ago v the oilers. We were patient, we trapped the oilers out on the ice for over 2 minutes before trying to really take it to the net and score… I believe it was lindholm who was out there and ultimately scored. We need to be smarter sometimes in ot. Carlsson Zellweger all these guys do is try and burn down the ice. Like bats out of hell ie lundestrom. And it leads to shit chances and usually a 2-1 against going the other way. Let’s wear the fing opposing team down and have guys like cutter g who are pure shooters ready to bury

Fair. He was definitely hosed by the pass

Some little kid was telling me that his uncle played some level of hockey with Jason Zucker and Zucker once told him “I’m going to make the NHL and you’ll always be a nobody.” He was very upset that Zucker scored tonight

I feel like he’s an atypical case of being in a contract year, knowing he needs to put up big numbers to get big money, and squeezing the stick a little too tightly as a result.
Yeah he’s shooting 3.7%!!!!! He works hard. Battles down low. Goes to dirty areas. He’s not going to score what he scored last year. He’s also not going to score what he’s done so far this year. It’ll be the middle somewhere and I hope he comes back on a fair deal.

I’ve always assumed that Zucker was an ass because Perry randomly headshotted him and didn’t seem sorry about it.
