I feel you have to be at least .667 winning pct, i.e., win two-thirds of your games, to be elite. That means they need to go 14-4-3 to be true .667, so hope they string four together.

I liked Audette. Remember him mostly as Atlanta Thrasher though.

They are not elite but they are good. An elite team doesn't have Goodrow playing on the first line and would have better options. That being said they will still win plenty of games just because of Gallant, Fox, Shesty, Panarin, and Krieder. Kakko starting to play well doesn't hurt either.

Switch Laf or Gauthier to the top6, I'd prefer Laf because Gauthier and Chytil have been a handful... Goodrow could be the chaperone on that line.

Goodrow with Zibs-Kreider hurts to watch.

Can't look over Buffalo. This has the makings of a letdown. They are not pushovers and will outwork us if we come out 'just going through the motions'.

Plus Gauthier refuses to shoot until its too late. I feel like coaches all his life said drive the net but never told him the objective was to put the puck in it. If this guy can work on his defensive abilities he'll be an ok bottom 6 player, if not he needs to figure out how to score.
