Except that CBJ committed $21M to a 29 year old forward and 31 year old D-man and a 33 year old forward and suck worse than the Flyers.

For now they are worse, which means absolutely nothing so esrly in the season. We are above several teams who are all better than us and have a better outlook. At least cbj have really promising prospects, a very solid future d corps, top fwd prospects, will have more cap space than us in 2 years when voraceks contract is done, and top end talent in their current lineup. We have none of those so..yay for a small victory of being ahead in the standings esrly in the season?
