Where's the depth after three years? You mentioned five players. Aside from Panarin and Miller having good years so far, and Chytil's five games, they need a lot more help. Their rebuild was expedited when they traded for a Fox, signed Panarin, and then got lucky with two picks in the top-2 and one in the top-10 (Kravtsov)

Our depth is playing on the 3rd line and 2nd pairing.

I think playing Laf on the PP makes all the sense in the world despite the fact that he clearly hasn’t earned it. He needs to be put into a position to be a dynamic player. For whatever reason, he can’t be that right now at even strength, even when he’s flanked by the best players on the team.

Whatever can be done to kickstart him needs to be done because this kid absolutely has to work out.

I have no issue at all with him being on it. I might have him on the 2nd unit, but to me complaining about our PP1 tonight of all nights is bizarre. Laf will find it or he won't. It won't be because of his usage tonight.

Smith is playing better offense as a defenseman than he did as a forward last 2 season.

Lafy will be a top 9 forward. I dont see top 6 skill in him at all. Seems like a very slow skater for top 6 minutes. Hope I am wrong. .

I am still FEELING a really big 3rd period 3 goal and 5-4 win, in a Flyer defensive meltdown. We pressure them enough, we will get those 3 goals and maybe a 4th (EN). Shesty has to stop a few, but one more PP chance gets us back in it.
Damn, Blackwell has had his chances.....maybe he will finally get one.
