The draft is over, we signed a bunch of guys, so let's run a poll again.

RULES CHANGE:

Since HF no longer functions beyond the forum, no reason to have their old rules. We do, however, need the same rules for everyone or else the rankings mean nothing.

SKATER PROSPECT: A player 24 or younger with 50 or fewer NHL games.

GOALIE PROSPECT: A player 25 or younger with 25 or fewer NHL games.

EXCEPTION 1: If a player completed the required 50/25 games, but is still not regarded as an NHL regular because he's shuffling between the NHL and the AHL, he could still be a prospect as long as he's 24 or younger and if agreed upon by most people here.

EXCEPTION 2: A player who is no older than 25 years old at the time of the vote and is a borderline NHLer could still count if agreed upon by most people here.

* Butcher still counts as a prospect! Having half a season or less in the NHL does not make you a proven NHLer.

I am adding Anthony DeAngelos and the two first round picks to the original-6 in the poll plus the top-3 non-graduated prospects from last time: Shesterkin, Butcher and Graves.

Please vote on who to add to the next round of polling.

Shesterkin needs to be our #1 prospect because he's a beast who is likely to be our franchise goalie the minute he crosses the pond.

Add Nieves who is likely to be a valuable third line player.

Day is not a good prospect. He looks good against teens in highlights, but not as good as a future NHLer looks. He's easily the most overrated prospect *by the fans) we currently own.

Buch add Day.

And this is based on what, exactly?

Hard to compare NHL prospects to non NHL prospects but there were enough glimpses of Buch's talent to make it seem like he can have a big impact in the NHL if he puts it all together

Add Day

Shester the Molester probably has the highest upside as a franchise goalie, but Buchnevich is not far behind and I like his chances better to get to the ceiling.

Add Day, if he puts it all together he's the best D prospect they have ahead of DeAngelo.

I mean if Buch is on the list, I'm gonna go with him. IMO Shesty is our #1 actual prospect since Buch will eclipse that mark this year. Same for Deangelo.

Add Day.
