You can’t possibly think it’s that simple.

I don’t but he is clearly prioritising less creative and skillfull players in key roles for the sake of risk aversion. We also are not eager to attack and rush the puck up the ice in the same way we were last season. Seems like Quinn has instructed the team to ”not lose the puck in dangerous areas” so we avoid taking risks with the puck, work it round the outside and play it safe.

Defending is stopping the opposition, not stopping yourself. Quinn has not understood that. Way too negative and pragmatic. He is clearly prioritising less creative players and plays because we had overblown ”defensive issues” last season.

Quinn doesn't know what he's doing. That's the problem

Uninspired, lazy period to start. Why am I shocked? Quinn is a puke but the clowns he has in the room that are so called leaders are spineless. Kreider fought a guy in McLeod, big deal. Could’ve used that against Boston. Not to mention he was swinging like Alex Semin did against Marc Staal that time. Nice lazy, typical Kreider penalty to end the period. I’m so disgusted with the GM. I hope Davidson pushes this thing in the off-season into another gear and cans Quinn.
