To be fair, he really started to score goals only after WJC. He was always a bit more of a playmaker before.

My issue is mine alone. My expectations of him were just so high. I expected Patrick Laine.

I expected immediate impact. I expected immediate production.

I don’t see him being a playmaker right now, either. I’m quick to get negative. I know this. I just can’t keep living on this “Murphy’s law”, “it’s going to turn”.
