I don’t think Kakko is going to be an elite scorer. He just can’t seem to score on these Grade A chances. He seems like another Buchnevich.

That’s good. That means he will be a solid player. You just wish one of these high picks could produce one one of the top players.

Same here. Only players I have constantly followed while on the ice (regardless of what else is going on): Bure, OV, Hossa, Crosby, Kane and now Kakko. You actually learn more about the game by following one player than by tracking the puck.

Devils do not waste time once they get the puck. It's north and towards the net. Two passes and then it's a shot attempt. And we are getting clowned on transition. They have zero issues making the first pass out of their zone.
