Someone called him the defenseman version of Boldy in the draft thread, sorry I can't remember who. It seems to me that is accurate especially in his draft position. Boldy dropped stupidly. Buium dropped stupidly, I can't wait to have one of the best players in this draft on the Wild.

The aggressiveness to get him was nice. A 3rd is not a big deal especially for a team that has depth and a ton of picks in 2026. Like Wallstedt, Yurov, Rossi, Boldy, I think Minnesota has done a good job of letting good prospects drop to a comfortable position before getting them. It's a smart move of assets. Buium and Faber...
