Teuvo's been fighting it for the last 10-15 games but he's undoubtedly the smartest player on this team outside of Bedard. They should probably just be glued together the rest of the year. Kurashev just doesn't have it this year, especially without playing with Bedard on the PP.

Having seen him play in two games vs Hawks this season I like Scott Mayfields game…he’s very similar to Murphy…I as thinking he’d be a great change up kinda like the Hjalmarsson-Murphy move, I see he’s signed for $3.5 per til 2029-30…great! Then I see he’s a year older than Murphy??? So basically I change my mind…don’t need that for FIVE MORE YEARS!

The Hjalmarsson-Murphy move was objectively bad for CHI. They got a far less impactful player for the same cost against the cap. Murphy has always been a bum.
