It's also a game of numbers though. It's just been a while since we could EXPECT Vasy to make more of those saves than the average goalie. All is forgiven if he can turn it on when it counts.

The defense is garbage, and despite the team needing a middle 6 F, another middle pairing dman/#5 type is likely even more needed. It's very clear this team isn't going deep with the defensive depth (or lack thereof) they have now.

Syracuse feeling it too. Crozier has been out of the lineup with an injury since the middle of November, otherwise he'd probably be here instead of Santini.
