I think its because it was above Paul's shoulders?I understand it's played with high stick but the opposing team touched the puck after skinner/nurse. Wouldn't that omit high stick rule? Or bc it was a goal play it don't matter?
I personally didn't mind the defensive effort after the 1st period. Thought we had worse stretches in other games this season.Bad offensive effort, worse defensive one. Vasy played great and is the only reason they didn't lose 5-1. Have to be able to score more than one against Skinner and that defense though.
Looks like it may have just landed on top of the net and stayed there. But who knows.I wonder if Paul doesn't touch it if it still finds its way behind Skinner
Pretty sure the refs were trying to call it dead as soon as Paul played it off a high stick. The play continued, which it shouldn't have I think, but there's no way anything that happened after was going to get overturned in Tampa's favor, unfortunately.I understand it's played with high stick but the opposing team touched the puck after skinner/nurse. Wouldn't that omit high stick rule? Or bc it was a goal play it don't matter?
he made some fantastic saves tonight i think he's not that bad just edmonton fans made him a scapegoat to justify why they didn't win the cuponly 1 goal on Skinner seems criminal
The defense gave up multiple break aways and it cost them the gwg in the 2nd. They were better in the 3rd but not good enough.I personally didn't mind the defensive effort after the 1st period. Thought we had worse stretches in other games this season.
Offensive effort looked like a lot of our road efforts from 2022-23 and 2023-24. Pretty shitty unfortunately.
Right, but did that occur after Paul touched it with a high stick or before?Rule is, if a player uses his hands in the crease. Penalty shot is awarded. That apparently doesn't apply...
Nah, he's actually pretty bad at times and a good above average goalie at others. He's fine but nothing special. We just didn't generate enough Grade A chances.he made some fantastic saves tonight i think he's not that bad just edmonton fans made him a scapegoat to justify why they didn't win the cup
the play should have been blown dead when paul hit the puck above his shoulders, the broadcast was talking about the crossbar but that didn't have to do with anything in this scenario (I think)Rule is, if a player uses his hands in the crease. Penalty shot is awarded. That apparently doesn't apply...
