The defenses sure weren't. Was a one line team for three years with only occasional secondary scoring and no real PPQB.

I liked Rozsival but how we made the playoffs with he and Malik as the top pairing is amazing.

That’s fair haha. Truth be told, Quinn annoys me sometimes, especially with his PP choices — and, while I do wonder whether he’s the best choice for developing our forwards or whether he’s held them back this far, any argument on the latter is pointless. You can’t make an argument via counterfactuals.

I'm ready to fire Quinn as soon as possible, but I'd much rather make the playoffs than not.

He's pushing our Vets hard to try to make the playoffs this year at the expense of some youth development. If he misses the postseason doing so that's a fireable offense for me.

Either you play the kids a ton and let them develop, or you have a mixed group and make the playoffs regularly, seamlessly bringing along the kids to their potential. A coach that does neither, with a reasonable roster, needs to find another job.
