I didn’t like them at first but seeing one in person they’re a lot nicer. They’re a darker orange than the usual neon orange but everyone is allowed to have different tastes.

I personally would've rather each team brought back an actual old jersey to wear for a few games instead what most teams went with

I know more jerseys=more $$, but instead of recoloring the Sabres goat head or Capitals eagle or Rags Lady Liberty, I'd rather they just Adidas-ify the original jerseys and wear em. People would probably still buy just for nostalgia alone.

That said, I don't mind the look of the Flyers' reverse retro at all. But it'd be cool to see, for instance, these worn again.

You could definitely argue his ability to withstand repeated beatings and keep ticking was the most impressive “talent” he had. Not that he was a bad player, I really liked him, but Jesus. I’m amazed he didn’t miss much time for some of these hits.

I just looked at the history of their jerseys and it looks like 2002-2007 is when they started doing stupid ugly things with that alternate jersey. They had a timeless look for 13 years and then the greed and Monster Energy crowd came along.
