I am no fan of Georgiev. At all. But as a former goalie I think he has had a good game so far. not great. But pretty good. I hope he can return something ok in a trade. This helps. Some of you all just gotta whine at the netminder when there is a goal against regardless of circumstances. Go to bed whiners. Or gear up…

Great game so far but im tired of LaF and Kakko. Send them down to the AHL so they can get prime minutes or something they legit don’t do anything out there

I agree. Absolutely underwhelming for a 1st and 2nd overall pick.

I'm never impressed when I see Lafreniere. I see his absolute ceiling as a complimentary top-6 winger. You can go full games without noticing. He gets the odd goal, usually on a perfect feed, and he can finish, but he does not look like the average 1st overall pick. We have fans who suggest he has done well, I don't see it. I have much higher expectations for a 1st as highly touted as Lafreniere was. He was supposed to be NHL ready and a slam dunk impact player.

Kakko has flashes where he looks great, but he couldn't score a goal if his life depended on it. He also goes large stretches where he is invisible.

Hard to believe they struck out on a 1st and a 2nd, but I think they did. Neither of them are going to be the best player from their draft.

He hasn’t really been challenged yet. Our defense has done a great job of negating prime opportunities for Edmonton. The only times where he really got challenged he allowed goals both times. Georgiev has yet to make a “great” save this game

Sorry, what’s a mud room?

Basically a foyer for people with young children. Empty nesters or people who have never had kids sometimes want a foyer (ie: an entryway so that everyone who even comes to your front door can ooh and aah at the pretentious style and things that you have acquired--goal: to impress people who don't know you). People WITH kids tend to have mud rooms (ie: an entryway with easy to clean flooring, storage, places to put shoes and hang coats--goal: f*** what other people think of us. Our kids will create chaos and we want it contained to specific locations of the house. See also "play room").

Did they strike out, or are the Rangers not developing them properly? You can chalk up one high pick to a bust, it happens, but two high picks? I wonder if something deeper isn't at play. Rangers seem good at developing defensemen and goalies, but forwards is a different story.

Regardless, even if they did bust, the Rangers can't be blamed. Any team would have picked Laf #1 overall, and Kakko #2 overall.

First goal was a double rebound. That is never on the goalie. Second was stoppable.

They should be blamed for making them untouchable in a trade, especially Kakko.
