This is super nitpicky, but I don't think we've been good defending the neutral zone as much as EDM has been bad at kickstarting transition. They've made a lot of bad passes off the rush and have saved us from ourselves from having way too large of gaps in NZ coverage

We had a shift vs canucks i think where we swirled around and looked reaolly dangerous
1 shift 10 games or so into the ssn...

For better or worse, that ship has sailed. Rangers made the decision to keep them up here, and sending them down would officially raise the alarm bells to the rest of the league and depreciate the assets (when the perception of the asset has changed, the value has changed)
