Playoffs could do good in helping a rebuild or retool or whatever you wanna call it.
Who is not willing to do it? This team can make the playoffs. should we not care about making the playoffs just because.

It's 11 games in and I'm willing to bet He's had the lowest offensive production out of any 1OA in recent memory.

He coaches the Rangers like a college team. You play your seniors because everyone's out the door in four years and development isn't your job. He works with kids but age =/= development. I think this is a valid criticism if we're going to be mad about something.

Just because we don't care? No.

Just because we're probably not good enough and that should have been obvious? Different story.

Kakko and Laf literally played more than those two. Kakko significantly more than them.

Yeah, Laf has a loooong way to go. He’s hardly been a revelation.

Just found it funny that in a game where we needed offense, Quinn decides to do nothing.
 
Hajek is so subpar. He did enough to get most of the game. Then he made an egregious mistake in an extremely tight game. Hold the puck, take the hit in the corner. Dont just send a puck through the middle of the ice even if you saw a teammate. Its a low % high risk play in a 0-0 game. Its as dumb as you can get.

Georgiev would of stopped those 2 goals.
Strome and Howdy would of triple deked Varly in the shootout.
No parties for me if we win the lottery this summer.

Hajek played well.

De Linguine was our best forward.

Totally different game if Bread scores on the breakaway.

I want to see Reunanen.
I want to see Kravtsov

I don't want to see Julien anymore.
All that talent. And cumulonimbus clouds between the ears.

I hate the Fish Sticks. This time because they bore me into dark thoughts of personal eye gouging with an ice cream scoop.

I kinda feel like we are good enough. The Pens don't impress me at all. Buffalo and NJD will be/should be below us. The Islanders are that much better than us? not sure about that.
I would say most of the kids are getting decent playing time. Whether or not DQ is developing them is another debate.
I want this team to win. Get that good feeling with hopefully the young kids contributing to it.

I'm a guy who doesn't mind losing games as long as the young guys improve and take steps forward. Otherwise, why didn't we just keep Stepan, Zucc, McDonath, etc? Tired of seeing losses with veterans playing like dog shit
 
Laf played his best game and had zero shots.

this kid is sooooo much better than this. I mean he’s been a huge disappointment no other way to slice it.

if you told me he and Mika would play this way thru 11 games I’d tell u we’d be in last place. Sure enough

Valid points but I’d much rather Hajek play rather than JJ or Smith (sometimes).

PDG is a nice north south guy but you're right Lafreniere is gonna have to start trying to get pucks on the net and hope for some luck. He's just not gonna be able to play a pretty game with Howden and PDG
