It's the Islanders. There's never anything to cheer about. This is every game they play against every opponent. The points go to who gets the bounces.

It's not indicative of long-term success.

I just don’t know what you can do, though. The Rangers don’t have the guys ready yet. It hurts that DeAngelo went all DeAngelo.

Plus, Smith is hurt. While he isn’t good, he’s better than both.

The Rangers are so thin at C and they lose their best one in Chytil (or the guy playing the best).

They are so thin at D and they lose 3.

This is what a rebuild actually is. I warned you guys many of you wouldn't be willing to do it.

I wanted the rebuild a year before the letter was sent out. I would love to see our young guys get top minutes with our other top forwards and maybe see how they mesh. It seems like it's too much to ask for from this coaching staff. 2nd overall and 1st overall and all i see is Di Giuseppe and Howden out there.

Kakko skated hard and Miller looked good.

Laf looks nothing as advertised. Will he be a great player? Absolutely. However he has had less of an impact than any 1OA I've seen play. Including Yakupov.

It's 11 games in and I'm willing to bet He's had the lowest offensive production out of any 1OA in recent memory.

To be fair, Laf needs to be more selfish and drive to the net. He isnt playing with offensively gifted linemates at this point in time so he needs to just drive to the net take a shot.
