Let’s all watch Quinn refuse to once again change up the PP and put a left handed shot on the right side. Instead we will force a square peg into a round hole. We put the guy who was a hart finalist on his offside, and we continue to have Mika who is ice cold there

Ah well it’s not like shits gonna get worse... not like if we are facing Boston with Pasta back twice this weekend...

That Bruins team could have 12 AHL players and they’d still have a winning record.

They’re the opposite of us. Clutch and bring it every single night.

It’s such an infuriating thing to spend your evening watching this. You go ‘well the effort is better’ the ‘defensive structure is improving’ and you just watch your team generate ZERO offense for 60 minutes and then get beat by a trash goal with 7 minutes left by these fourth liners and then pour salt on the wound. Trying to be patient with the team. Trying to be optimistic. Trying to understand we’re missing Chytil, we’re young, it’s early, the future is still bright, etc. and yet none of it can help actually make these games enjoyable. This team just isn’t fun to watch so far. At all really.

We were all warned.

Igor has been fine. But, has he “stolen” us a game yet? Maybe last game vs Caps?

I see other goalies stealing games against the Rangers, but I don’t see ours stealing a game, yet.
Oh please

Both of those goals vere just outrageous errors by defense, and that's it.

My b, didn’t think it was the islanders pp. but my point stands

This team is doomed with Mika playing like baby poo , Strome being Strome, and Howdy refusing to figure out a way to improve. Weak, weak team at pivot. D playing well though.

That Bread loaf on the break away was the sign.

It’s almost like you need quality center play.

This team has struck gold with those two lotto wins but anyone who thinks this team is done with the “talent addition,” part of the rebuild is on drugs until it has two more quality centers in the pipeline.

As long as David Quinn is the coach and the team lacks a viable offensive system and veteran accountability it will look ugly. The defensive mistakes no matter what part of the game they happen on, as long as they happen to rookies or 2nd or 3rd year players, are acceptable in a rebuild. Every single vet not named Panarin being absolute trash is unacceptable. Their lack of accountability is completely unforgivable from the coach. Mika should sit for a game. You would say we dont have enough centers but it doesnt f***ing matter hes horrible.

I feel like the Rangers have had better high danger chances and more high end chances this period, yet they’re down 2-0.

Still hoping Lafreniere can make an impact soon. 1 point in 11 games for a 1st overall is abysmal.

Zibenejad looking awful might not seem as bad if our 1st and 2nd overall picks actually produced like 1st and 2nd overall picks.

And I dont want to down Kakko, who I think is playing well recently, but he just isn't producing. End of the day is about results and they're not there.

When your 2 top players get A+ chances that the goalie make looks like a routine save you aren't winning a grinding 1 goal type game the Isles force you to play. Throw in an AHL defenseman scared to take a hit and its GG.
