So a series of unfortunate events caused me to try and feed 7 kids hotdogs on Christmas without any ketchup in my house. I used pantry ingredients to make a quick homemade ketchup and it was surprisingly legit. I even put it in the empty Heinz bottle so they wouldn’t suspect anything and it worked like a charm. All kids ate without comment.

I put it in the fridge and have tried to use it a few times since. Once it’s cold it gets really chunky and not pleasant so my kid wasn’t happy.

Tonight I got him a takeout burger and he made sure to request that I get him ketchup from the restaurant and not my ketchup from home.

Tough loss for homemade ketchup tonight

For anyone wondering there are multiple ways to make it, but it’s basically tomato paste, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar.
Tell us more about these hot dogs. How would you describe their shape?

Newbs, all of you. Ketchup on fries is the Sony, Honda, and Fender of condiments - perfectly acceptable, sometimes spectacular, solid, and reliable. But, if you want to bring your game to Valhalla, a balsamic vinegar reduction for which to dip your fries (or, in Appleyard's case, "chips") is your carpool lane to gustatory bliss.

Vinegar is always the way.

At a family Christmas party food was being discussed. I mentioned my philosophy regarding all fluids being beverages, and mentioned I'll even drink the rest of my unused malt vinegar. My cousin-in-law became dismayed as his girlfriend excitedly announced "YES! I DRINK APPLE CIDER VINEGAR!" while he tried to explain to her that it's not something she should ever admit to, then reminded her I am not a good influence.

Apparently, a daily shot of apple cider vinegar is a recommended health move. You probably already knew that. Now school your cousin-in-law.

Crazy...

I feel bad because with so little public information the internet seemed to turn their eyes to one of the girls ex-boyfriends & some other kid that was drunkingly hitting on the girls at a food place before their deaths.

Some of those internet sleuths types really delude themselves into thinking they’re some kind of law enforcement or vigilante.

So the thing is apparently really happening. On the plane right now to Düsseldorf. Moving to Germany, Essen. I mean... I didn't expect it to be that difficult

@Ironmanrulez I might contact you sometime in the future haha :)
everytime bro! Why you come to germany? I´ve never read this thread before :(
