That sounds delicious! Didn't know that existed, so thanks for that. I usually do a plain dog, but on the rare occasion, I'll do a spicy mustard/relish combo.
Dill relish = actual pickles cut up (like Clausens)
Sweet relish = those tiny sweet pickles cut up, like the ones you get in veggie trays

The difference is clear just from realizing the difference in pickle

Yea I always go dill over sweet. I just didn't know there was dill relish out there. I also couldn't tell you the last time I bought relish, though.

Had dinner at a place in Phoenix. A well known place called Rustlers Rooste
Here is what I had
Wrangler bone in rib eye, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob and cowboy beans.
Not pictured a 32 oz IPA

Exactly. I had no idea it existed either. Typically there's a bottle of it at any grocery store, it's a Giant for example.

I wasn't a huge relish guy prior to this discovery though, for what it's worth

So a series of unfortunate events caused me to try and feed 7 kids hotdogs on Christmas without any ketchup in my house. I used pantry ingredients to make a quick homemade ketchup and it was surprisingly legit. I even put it in the empty Heinz bottle so they wouldn’t suspect anything and it worked like a charm. All kids ate without comment.

I put it in the fridge and have tried to use it a few times since. Once it’s cold it gets really chunky and not pleasant so my kid wasn’t happy.

Tonight I got him a takeout burger and he made sure to request that I get him ketchup from the restaurant and not my ketchup from home.

Tough loss for homemade ketchup tonight

For anyone wondering there are multiple ways to make it, but it’s basically tomato paste, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar.
