The wife's grandmother passed peacefully ay 4:07 am this morning thus ending a real crappy 5 months. August we both got covid. Sept my mom's oxygen level started deteriorating and her Nan was diagnosed with breast cancer. Oct was many trips to Dr's to try and see what was going on. Nov my mom admitted to hospital and passes on 27th. Dec her Nan admitted to hospital and passes Dec 28th. f***ing stressful time. Wife has not worked since mid Nov given she is an OR nurse and certainly isn't in the headspace to be doing operations.

And looking forward, she still has 3 grandparents all in their 90's alive and my grandfather is 88. Can we get a little break here to recoup a bit?

Appreciate you all for letting me share and for sending well wishes and DM's. Hopefully I won't have to post anymore of these types in awhile. Rather post about the trash Flyers.
f***ing hell dude. I fell terrible for you guys

George "The Animal" Steel
Considering the 'persona' he displayed in the ring it may not far from the truth... In real life he was so different than that character he played. Watch any of the 'regular/normal' interviews with him and he's normal and very well-spoken... I think there's this infamous story about how he was taping one of those short interviews for an upcoming match and one of the WWF people there said "George, you're making too much sense. We gotta do another take" and then he just 'flipped/turned on high gear' the doofus/crazy animal persona lol.

From my understanding (and I'm too lazy to Google), he was a teacher, possibly at Michigan State? He was perfect as Tor Johnson in the movie, Ed Wood.

So a series of unfortunate events caused me to try and feed 7 kids hotdogs on Christmas without any ketchup in my house. I used pantry ingredients to make a quick homemade ketchup and it was surprisingly legit. I even put it in the empty Heinz bottle so they wouldn’t suspect anything and it worked like a charm. All kids ate without comment.

I put it in the fridge and have tried to use it a few times since. Once it’s cold it gets really chunky and not pleasant so my kid wasn’t happy.

Tonight I got him a takeout burger and he made sure to request that I get him ketchup from the restaurant and not my ketchup from home.

Tough loss for homemade ketchup tonight

For anyone wondering there are multiple ways to make it, but it’s basically tomato paste, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar.

Kudos on your resourcefulness! But man, enabling people, children no less!, who think ketchup on a hot dog is ok...not cool dude.
