Striiker is a poster on HF Boards, Philadelphia Flyers subforum. He is the illegitimate love child of @Starat327 and Shayne Gostisbehere. He isn't supported by either parent and must sell pictures of his feet to survive on a meager diet of chicken nuggies. He is related to well known blogger Sean Boswell. He is too young to understand advanced stats but likes making charts with them. He does not understand people who love or hate American Oligarch Elon Musk.

As a bunch of you know, my mother passed 4 weeks ago. Since then, my wife's grandmother who has cancer, had a fall last week and is now in palliative care in the hospital 2 hours away. Her health is dropping on the daily. The wife was down there for 5 days but came home last night around 7. Might be heading back down tomorrow or Tuesday for awhile....even having to pack funeral clothes. What a stressful last few months. But my mother in law ordered us a turkey dinner so we would not have to cook today and it was delish. We both slept till noon today so not having to cook was a blessing.

Merry Christmas to all you crazy bastards that are great at distracting the mind. Hug your loved ones a little tighter and longer while you can.

And may the Flyers continue this great culture Torts has built. What a difference it has made. Idiots.
I’m sorry buddy.

I would strongly recommend the following: Echo 3, Tulsa King and Yellowstone.

Something below the radar but that is fantastic: CB Strike, a British production, written by the author of Harry Potter under a pen name before she became famous. Fifth Season being aired now. The casting is fabulous.

I’ve heard good things about Strike Force but haven’t started it yet (a ton of seasons to take in). I’m liking the first two episodes of The Recruit on Netflix.

Honorable mention to The Cleaning Lady — cast is likeable, story a little thin. You didn’t mention Ozark but I’m assuming you’ve probably seen it.

If you liked Ron Livingston in the classic Office Space, I bet you’ll enjoy Loudermilk. Livingston plays the same type of laid back, lazy character, heading an alcohol addiction group and who is a music critic — he has basically perfected the art of not giving a crap. The guy playing his father is a champ. The likeable Will Sasso is one of the main characters. Just a slow, easygoing sitcom dramedy, where a lot of the supporting cast feels like people you’d meet in real life.

There are 3 seasons available, a 4th is being planned with all cast members having expressed interest. Here’s a sample scene from Loudermilk:

Hoping you enjoy these. Wishing you good luck on your upcoming surgery and best holiday greetings.

Thanks - I actually have watched Most of Tulsa King also. Watched OZrark also but Cleaning Lady has my interest peaked. Thanks!

My brother got my kids tickets to Disney on Ice Tonight at the Wells Fargo Center. Do they serve liquor at Disney on Ice and is there a limit?

Yes and no. Went to Disney on Ice in DC last year. Had multiple cocktails though way overpriced. The people watching though is top notch. Disney adults are a different breed

I didnt even think about the adult disney nerds. He got tickets in the club level so we can bring my son in a wheelchair, hoping they will let us swap for the handicap section we sat at near the tequila bar when i took him to a flyers game.

If thats the case and the tequila bar is open, and the wife is driving...it would be a christmas miracle.

The Southwest debacle is one of the more interesting stories I’ve seen in a while. Just a total meltdown of operations that isn’t going to be fixed for at least the next day (66% of flights for tomorrow already cancelled). And the storm was before Christmas.

Southwest sucks anymore. The lack of nonstop flights out of Philly nowadays is just embarrassing
