Question for the board.

I was out in West Chester today and I came across a couple of dogs running around like they were in the middle of the park on a semi busy street.

After tracking them for 3 blocks I managed to corral them and get them in my car. Luckily they had the owners number on their collars and I got them back home.

The dilemma I'm facing is the lady that owns the dogs wants to pay me (Venmo). She said I 'Saved Christmas' and judging by the crying kids I heard in the background when I called her it would have certainly put a damper on things.

I'm kinda of struggling with this. I did it because it was the right thing to do not for a reward. Do I accept the money?
No, just say it’s a Christmas gift. Merry Christmas.
I know I am answering this kind of late

Getting Knee Surgery January 5th, Need recommendations on stuff to watch.

Already watched this year: Peaky Blinders, 1883, Abbott Elementary, The Old Man, Better Call Saul, House of Dragon, Underground Railroad, White Lotus, Raised by Wolves, Squid Game, Barry, The Flight Attendant, Mando, Mayor of Kingstown, Deadwood, Z Nation....
I would strongly recommend the following: Echo 3, Tulsa King and Yellowstone.

Something below the radar but that is fantastic: CB Strike, a British production, written by the author of Harry Potter under a pen name before she became famous. Fifth Season being aired now. The casting is fabulous.

I’ve heard good things about Strike Force but haven’t started it yet (a ton of seasons to take in). I’m liking the first two episodes of The Recruit on Netflix.

Honorable mention to The Cleaning Lady — cast is likeable, story a little thin. You didn’t mention Ozark but I’m assuming you’ve probably seen it.

If you liked Ron Livingston in the classic Office Space, I bet you’ll enjoy Loudermilk. Livingston plays the same type of laid back, lazy character, heading an alcohol addiction group and who is a music critic — he has basically perfected the art of not giving a crap. The guy playing his father is a champ. The likeable Will Sasso is one of the main characters. Just a slow, easygoing sitcom dramedy, where a lot of the supporting cast feels like people you’d meet in real life.

There are 3 seasons available, a 4th is being planned with all cast members having expressed interest. Here’s a sample scene from Loudermilk:

Hoping you enjoy these. Wishing you good luck on your upcoming surgery and best holiday greetings.

An update from yesterday's adventure. I told the lady that a picture of the doggies when be fine for compensation which she sent me as well as $100:dunno:

I decided that SBA had the right idea so I'm going to spend the money buying supplies for the local no kill shelter. They have a little set up in the pet store where they keep 5-6 cats for adoption and accept donations of food and supplies.

I also received a photo of the doggies in question, but it had her toddler in the picture. I wasn't able to edit the picture, so I sent it to Cap to work his magic. There's now 3 dogs in the picture but I swear I had nothing to do with the ugly one:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
