This is the official Phil Kessel 1000 point watch thread. I will be updating the totals above until he reaches the prestigious millennium mark milestone.

Only 93 other players have reached 1000 points in their careers and Kessel is looking to be either the 95th or 96th in NHL history.

Some people think Kessel is washed but I personally think he still has a lot to give. I think he is poised for a big year playing with Eichel.

*Should also note that Phil Kessel is set to become the NHL’s Ironman in just 7 games. One of the most impressive things I’ve seen to be honest.

Mostly because the season is still so far away and this isn't helping, I'm rooting for Phil to hit all his marks this year.

Eight shy, fair to write the book on him? Didn’t play in nhl last year. Not signed this year. Looks like he’ll fall a bit short career wise.
