We got lucky.

10SOG is the least amount to ever win a SC game in history.

Take the W, go 4K miles to Florida for the SC.

It wasn't pretty as McD said.
Not lucky. Ran out of gas, and relied on our system to keep things to outside and allow Skinner a chance. And when that didn't work, he was excellent. Go, ahead, try to say it. Skinner was excellent.

Had a rough night. After an hour of intense and unabated clenching watching that last period, my ass finally gave in and petrified and froze up during the night. To make matters worse, lots of gas from the anchovie and pepperoni pizza so huge bloating until the damm finally burst this morning. So nice to have the wife literally jump out of bed and make coffee.

As to the game, the guys didn't seem to have a lot of legs, other than just a few. But they dug in an competed incredibly hard, and got rewarded. Skin rewarded the coaches and teammates faith in him by slamming the door. Nurse was a monster, and we will need him to continue that. These 6 days are going to be a blessing to allow some guys to heal up the bumps and bruises that will be surely replaced by others shortly, and get some much needed R & R.

That's why you ask Mediterranean Bob what kind pizza is best before ordering

Yeah, Gretzky said on the TNT panel post-game that they didn't appreciate how the Cup Finals are a different beast in 1983 and they were swept easily by the Islanders. It was over before they knew it.

Oilers have guys like Holland, Keith, Perry, and Coffey to prepare the team the best they can for a new experience.

Yeah I kinda expect the Oilers to get run over in game 1, and hopefully they can adjust for game 2+. Florida was there last year, and the Stanley final is a different beast, just like the playoffs are different from the regular season.

Not worried at all to be honest. Write it down if you wish McDavid and Leon will not allow us to lose this series. This is what they were made for and it’s so fitting the way we had to get here. Now let’s smash a turtle on Saturday

So many of these players are in incredible physical shape but it must take every ounce of stamina to make it thru this marathon they call the Stanley Cup playoffs. It seemed to me in watching Drai skate last night that every stride was calling for that last ounce of body energy. You can see all the players wincing out there during the games.

The 6 days will make a lot of difference to the guys who are hurting or just plain fatigued.
