Hard to believe it's been almost 3 years since our last thread started. My life (and the world of course) was a lot different back then.

On another note, @drunksage, tried Sakana the other week. Has to be my new go-to in Vegas and my favorite AYCE sushi spot. The fish may be lower quality but I can't tell the difference. And they really do give so little rice that I can eat so much more.

I was hoping we could go a little bit without one but…

RIP James Caan.

You see, phone booths aren't watertight. Use the doors as a strainer, keep the mulch.

You really seem to have thought this through...

...excuse me for a moment. I need to look up the hotline # for California Child Protective Services. For... unrelated reasons, I assure you.

Clearly we're all focused on-topic. :sarcasm:

Cool, always nice to hear when people have delicious AYCE sushi in Vegas.

Since the recommendations are unofficial, Rubio's makes a pretty kick-ass San Diego style burrito (labeled "California Burrito" and distinguished by the carne asada and especially the presence of fries as a filling). I have been tempted to recommend it unironically for best burrito in Henderson, NV.

Hah, similar to like Baja Fresh, I was never really a fan. Used to love Chevy's though when they were more prominent.

Going off of my recent Vegas trip, inflation hit Marilyn's Cafe in the Tuscany Casino hard. Their menu prices almost doubled now. Pre-COVID, you could get a pretty solid prime rib meal for $11. Used to be one of my go-to's that's no longer worth it.

Porto's Bakery in SoCal lives up to the hype though.

I haven't been to Baja Fresh in forever. There was a Chevy's in a Henderson mall up until a few years back, and I don't recall going to that. Maybe I went to one in San Jose ages ago?

I need to investigate Taco Tuesdays more thoroughly, but the current high-value local food that comes to mind is Nevada Brew Works on Wednesdays. Several burger options all 50% off, so $6-$7.50 (or $8 for Impossible), with two hefty patties (1/3 lb each?) and also including fries or onion rings. Unfortuately, parking is a bitch and a half now with practically all nearby streets metered.

(Not gonna lie, I spam the BOGO McDonald's offers a lot these days.)

Porto's prices have also risen slow and steadily, but they're still 🔥 and a must when I'm in SoCal.

RIP. Assassination. Don't recall any such type of death in my lifetime (I was two when JFK was).

BOGO BigMac is pretty legit.

Picked these up from Great Mall. I'm a sucker for a good gachapan and surprisingly got all 4 in 4 tries.
