Including goalies, rank the best 10 players this year for your team

If a player has missed time to injury, consider their impact outside of that if they've played ~15+ games

I'll start:

1) Raymond
2) Larkin
3) Edvinsson
4) Seider
5) Debrincat
6) Talbot
7) Kasper/Lyon
8) no
9) body
10) else

1. Stolarz
2. Marner
3. Woll
4. Matthews
5. Nylander
6. Tavares
7. Tanev
8. Rielly
9. OEL
10. Knies

Wouldn't debate anyone too much on the order. I think the tandem in net has been the biggest story here this season. The stars have been producing. The new additions to the blueline have been good. And Knies shows promised (could swap him for McCabe).

1 Kopitar - slower and hairier, but still a force in all zones.
2 Kempe - 200 ft game is so underrated, and has been for years. Just a great hockey player on a bargain contract.
3 Gavrikov - a defensive monster, who knows when to jump into the play
4 Foegele - speed and forecheck has been top notch. Very good on PK.
5 Turcotte - a total beast on the forecheck, positive contributor no matter where they put him.
6 Anderson - steady, reliable, leader, great teammate.
7 Clarke - still surprises teammates when he pushes the offense, carries the puck deep, and stays deep. Oozes skill.
8 Kuemper - making the saves he needs to make, and stole a game or two. Rittich too.
9 Laferierre - I'm not sure I believe he's as good as his stat line says. Every time he picks a corner from an impossible angle I think I could be wrong.
10 Fiala - for all the stupid shit he does, still is capable of creating something out of nothing and putting together defensive play when he tries.

Everyone else has been wildly inconsistent.

Bunch of other guys having very solid seasons (Toffoli, Wennberg, Liljegren, Zetterlund, Kunin, W. Smith), but those five guys are (or were in Blackwood's case) the clear-cut cream of the Sharks.

I haven't watched a whole lot of the Leafs, but Knies has stood out every time.

1- Suzuki
2- Caufield
3- Hutson
4- Guhle
5- Montembeault

For those next three, it's relative to the expectations:
6- Evans
7- Gallagher
8 - Anderson

I'm not even sure it's worth trying after that

Suzuki- consistent again, hopefully that at, or above a point per game this season.

Hutson - figured he'd be OK, but he's been better than I expected as a rookie.

Caufield, scoring goals

Monty - playing strong and I have confidence in him and I wish I didn't so the Habs could get another top pick this year.

Laine - because of his start.

Xhekaj - started off struggling trying to do too much, but has calmed down and plays the game better while being an absolute menace out there.

Anderson - pretty much for beating up Wilson and Trouba. He's playing hard and basically letting the league know he's one of the tougher players in the league.

Guhle - still being solid, but would like to see more out of him.

Evans - still being a solid bottom 6 player for the Habs and probably someone else..

Gallagher - lately hasn't been as good, but started off pretty good.

Pretty said, though overall.

Here are my picks for top ten Jets. The top four or five are definite but the order slides somewhat for the bottom half.

Helle
Connor
Scheif
Morrissey
Samberg (injured)
Ehlers (injured)
Vilardi
Lowry
Nino
Namestnikov or Kupari (neither putting up much for numbers but Vladdy has done a decent job on the second line and Kups speed has finally given us a fourth line that doesn’t get caved in every game)

1. Strome
2. Ovechkin
3. McMichael
4. Carlson
5. Chychrun
6. Protas
7. Sandin
8. Thompson
9. Wilson
10. Dubois

It’s a tough list, there’s not much separation between players. I imagine every Caps list looks quite different.

It's challenging, with the way the Sabres season is trending, but here goes.

1. Dahlin - I still want more out of him, but clearly our best player. Been injured the last few, continuing his season-long struggle with back spasms.

2. Tage - he's Tage. Can be an absolute force. Still working on the defensive side of his game, and using his size along the boards.

3. UPL - he's 6Ks to us. Needs to be more consistent. Can flop too much and lose pucks at his feet, but rounding into a legit starter at 25.

4. Zucker - surprisingly good acquisition by Adams. Just an all-round pro who's fit like a glove wherever Ruff has played him.

5. Greenway - was injured for a few weeks. Brings a combo of size, speed, physicality, defensive chops, and tenacity not found among our other forwards.

6. Benson - only 19, and not yet a consistent producer, but arguably the forward who most reliably makes the smart play. Compete level is off the charts.

7. Tuch - he's got all the tools to be a star. Maddeningly inconsistent, and prone to bonehead decisions. Often misses the net on great looks.

8. Power - need to see a lot more from him defensively and in utilizing his massive frame. Effortless skater who just turned 22. Still developing.

9. McLeod - has played effectively up and down the lineup. A burner, as advertised. Decent production.

10. Clifton - not much skill, doesn't always make the right decision. He'll step up on opposing forwards and gives everything he's got. Rating him too high here, but can't help but like him. Sue me.
