My honest take. I’m talking as real and least satirical as I ever have on here for the most part…

Laf is literally leaving his position to make a hit. Instead of engaging in what his skill set is he’s taking the body along the boards and throwing a hit that doesn’t bump the opponent off the puck allowing them to move it. His positioning and stick skills are thrown off as a result of this. I’m not sure if it’s because of the whole new ‘tuffness’ thing going on and him trying to engage, but he looks absolutely lost.

Second goal is unscreened and it gets tipped so that’s a tough one.

Third was as bad as any goal he’s given up in his career. It was shot right into him and it still went in. That’s odorous.

He also looks like he’s not in control of himself at all. He’s guessing on shots, late on his reads and bungling rebounds. Bad night for him. He’s looked better since it got to 3-0 for what it’s worth.
