Kakko looks better than the player he was last year. He’s had chances, been in good places. It’ll come. Anyone making any serious judgements off game one of this bizzaro season needs to slow it down. It’s all fun and fine to joke around to cope, but we shouldn’t be expressing any serious concerns until at least 3-5 games have gone by.

Hockey is back. We’ve got a whole season ahead of us. Laf looks as exciting as we wanted. I’m content.

I feel like if he doesn’t miss on that one chance, it’s a non-issue and we’d be talking about Panarin hasn’t looked the same in about 9 months.
