Johnston is really the only goon there.

Martin is a half goon who can't really fight anymore.

Mayfield is the king of obstruction penalties that never get called, but a goon he is not. For real though, it was laughable just how much he got away with during the playoffs.

Clutterbuck is a Weasel who would get the shit kicked out of him by most of our roster if he actually dropped the gloves.

I love Strome but I have to disagree with Quinn putting him on the first PP instead of Lafreniere. At least give Lafreniere real opportunity to play in the first PP at some point.

I think Islanders have big advantage in physicality and in coaching over Rangers. This could get ugly.

I think the Isles physicality gets overblown, they have a real good checking line, other than that they aren't full up and down the line up with hitters. Lemieux, Kreider, Gauthier, Trouba, Miller, Lindgren arent exactly wallflowers. Outside of Ross Johnson nobody really worries me there. Their D has gotten softer as well in my opinion.
We have a huge advantage in skill and PP.

i don't want to be a doomer but I have a terrible feeling about this game. Gonna be the Carolina series all over again. Short seasons, short camp plays right into Trotz's hands and Quinn isn't exactly renowned for his preparation. Wish we could have gotten literally anyone else (aside from Philly) to start the season.

I've been watching him since 10 years. Lol. He still needs to adjust to the size and speed of the NHL, he said it himself that he had to adjust his game even during scrimmages because of the speed and skill. He WILL be a top ten player but thats not happening this year.
