I can't seem to find any historical stats on how many teams came back from a 0-3 serie to force a game 7, only to lose the final game. Does anyone know where I could find these informations?

Forgot about the Red Wings and Sharks in 2011. Always remember the Nucks and Hawks that year, Hawks almost pulling it off.

I'm not surprised a team never forced a Game Seven after falling behind 3-0 in a series during the Dead Puck Era, but I am kind of surprised that never happened between 1980 and 1995.

For a long time, no team that fell behind 3-0 in a series forced a seventh game, but then between 2010 and 2014 four teams did that and two of those pulled off a reverse sweep to win the series. And now no team that has lost the first three games of a series has forced a seventh game since LA did it in 2014. Maybe it'll happen tomorrow.

Comebacks seemed super rare back then, when the Wings won their series in 1987 against the Leafs, a big deal was made that it was only the eight time in history a team successfully came back from 3-1 down. Since then it seems like comebacks have happened a ton more times
