Yesterday in his end of season press conference, Doug Armstrong said he would like to get another “200 foot scoring player” this summer. I can look up the pending UFA list as well as anyone but what would be some potential trade options?

I’ll note the Blues are pretty loaded at wing but weaker at C. While the phrase he used is pretty vague, I’d say he’s most likely looking for a 2C. Someone to push Schenn to 3C or the wing. Or someone to push Sundqvist out of 3C and challenge Schenn for 2C at the very least.

Offensive minded forward (ideally a C), plays a good two-way game.

Free agency wise this would relatively mean:
Tavares(doubtful)
Duchene(doubtful)
Brock Nelson
Sam bennett
Yanni Gourde
Pius Suter

After that, it’s basically 4th line centers.

With Dvorsky waiting in the wings, if we’re gonna make a move. I hope it’s a short term deal like.

Only multi year deal that would make sense to me would be Gourde, as he can hold down a middle 6 Center spot until Dvorskys ready then move to the wing or 4th line and provide value as an energizer bunny high compete type bottom 6’er

Bryan Rust would be a perfect fit for STL. I suck at value though. I’ll let those smarter than me argue about that!

Regarding your post, it's what every team is looking for. Bill Guerin specifically mentioned wanting another Joel Eriksson ek. He loves these type of players

Every team in the league would like to add a complete player at forward. It's a throwaway statement.
Army tends to be purposeful in what he says. He has couple targets in mind. Whether he is aiming for Larkin or pinto or Mercer or Bennett or whomever, he has someone in his crosshairs. May not be able to pull it off, but I wouldn’t put it past him. Depending on the target, blues have fair amount of ammunition.
