The third-round match between 13th-seeded Milos Raonic, the 2016 Wimbledon runner-up, and 171st-ranked qualifier Dennis Novak has been suspended because of fading light. Play was halted with Raonic ahead 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-5. Novak will be serving when they resume Saturday.
Oh well, I took a shot - was a competitive match for the first three sets - this was another match in this tourney where the match being suspended due to darkness and resumed the next day help the higher seed. (They were either down two sets to none or two sets to one or in this case, lost the previous two games in the set before darkness it. Then got the rest and came from behind to win the next day.)
We have a Canada vs United States matchup in the next round with Raonic playing the McDonald. Going to have go big-time there - $25,000 at least on the American!
