Necas is someone a smart team would go after. Flyers are more of a team that would pay for Elias Lindholm's decline.

Hayes's retention
Laughton

So Necas just doesn't seem like a fit.

Laughton might be one of the worst stocks to buy in the NHL when factoring in cost & what he actually brings on the ice. That’s not exactly the type of players Carolina is generally interested in.
