He is an ideal 6/7 defenseman near league minimum. Not great, not terrible, barely noticeable, doesn't hurt you , doesn't really help you, but has some size.

Honestly his slots in a bit higher than that. He has played anywhere from 9 to 22 minutes depending on the game, that puts him into that Jan Rutta territory of being a 4/5 guy. He isn't a guy that'll anchor your top pairing but he'll at least be the "someone got hurt and theres about 5 extra minutes to cover" guy.
