I think "draws a lot of penalties" plays a factor too. Because he falls down a lot, which convinces refs he was fouled. He's not diving or selling it, he just..... falls.

What!? He is one of the best embellishers in the league. The difference is when he is on his game he keeps his feet moving which really sells things. Lately with him being off he kinda sulks or goes oh shucks if the call doesnt go his way

This award was always funny to me because it basically just goes to the player who had the best season while also having fewer than 10 PIMS.

I expect Matthews to win, but cool to see Pettersson nominated.

He probably deserved it last year more than this year.

Always good to have a high ice time player who takes so few penalties.
